Why?
Thousands of baby shoes are thrown away each year, yet there are millions of
babies around the world who go without shoes, every day. Through Soulful Steps
Recycling Program, Gemmina Mia is championing a simple way to address
this discrepancy. The program gives mums a convenient way to
recycle the shoes that their babies have outgrown, while at the same time,
reducing waste and helping less advantaged babies.
How does it work?
Through Gemmina Mia’s recycling system, each pair of baby shoes can be sent back to Gemmina Mia directly or to the nearest Gemmina Mia stockist, providing they
are a ‘Soulful Steps’ partner . The shoes are then channelled to disadvantaged
babies around the world, through partner charities and NGOs.
